Chinese Cabbage Seeds - Suiho - Hybrid. Non-GMO. Brassica oleracea var alboglabra. Also known as Noble Jade or Emerald Green variety and is medium maturing. 50-55 days. Cool season annual. This variety of Chinese kale/broccoli has round medium green leaves that are slightly wrinkled with 3/4 thick stems. The thick stem is shorter and thicker than Ryokuho variety yet tender and crispy making this a grower choice. The plant grows about 14" tall and is semi-spreading. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring after last frost to early summer or late summer to early fall. Sow seeds in late spring to fall season (cool areas), can be planted yearly around in sub-tropical area. Keep soil moist. Harvest main stalk when about 8-10" tall and when 2-3 flowers are about to open. Chinese Cabbage Seeds - Bae Moo Chae - Hybrid. Non-GMO. Brassica rapa var. pekinensis. 60-70 days. Cool season annual. This variety is the first hybrid crossing Chinese cabbage and radish. It is heading type of Chinese cabbage with hairless leaves and thick petioles. The root is straight and thick like radish. The flavor is spicy and sweet. Rich in sulforaphane. This variety is bred for spring to early summer harvest in areas where bolting is a problem. It also grows well as a late summer to early winter crop. Prepare fertile, well drained soil. Mei Qing Choi, Pak Choi (Bok Choy) Hybrid Seeds. Annual, Hybrid. 40 to 50 Days to maturity. This is the first hybrid, green stem, dwarf, Shanghai pak choi developed with heat/cold tolerance and bolt resistance. It has a uniform, erect, compact, tight vase-shape growing habit and weighs about 1/4 lb. each. The petioles are tasty, crisp, and tender. It is a good choice for home and field growing.
