This spring-type Korean radish can be planted earlier in spring than the Super Luck and Good Luck varieties as it produces good quality roots in cool temperatures and low light conditions. The green shouldered white radishes grow 6-8 long and 2-3" in diameter. Slow to bolt, good heat tolerance and a lack of pithiness makes this a big time winner! Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Chinese Cabbage Seeds - Hwi Mo Ri - Hybrid. Non-GMO. Brassica rapa var pekinensis. 65-70 days. Cool season annual. This hybrid variety is slow bolting and tolerates cold temperatures. It has wide adaptability to grow in various soil types. The cabbage heads have a solid cylindrical shape formation with yellow inner leaves and deep green outer leaves. Head size average 14 tall, 10-11" wide and weighs 3-3.5 lb. Excellent Chinese cabbage for kimchi pickling because it has a low water content. It has disease resistance to Virus. Chinese cabbage prefers cool temperatures for its main growing season. This variety is a fall to winter harvest type. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds or transplant seedlings in late summer/early fall in a sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Exposure to frost or prolonged temperatures below 50?F may result in bolting. This mustard variety is bred especially for microgreen production and has a hot flavor. The cotyledons or seed leaves are forest green with ivory stems. It will be overwhelming for most, with the exception of hot mustard lovers. For large sprouts or microgreens, sow seeds in spring to summer in sandy soil in a bright but cool location. Broadcast seeds and cover with a thin layer of soil. Keep uniformly moist. Harvest by cutting when seedlings reach 3-4. For smaller sprouts, use a sprouting jar indoors. Gourd Seeds - Buab Moom - Hybrid.Luffa acutangula. 80-90 days. NonGMO. Open pollinated. Warm season annual. This hybrid ridge gourd is highly productive and vigorous. The fruit are green color, growing up to 17-19 in length, 2" diameter. Gourds weigh approximately 1/2 lb. Requires a long, warm growing season. Prepare fertile, well drained soil. Sow seeds in spring/early summer after last frost in a warm, sunny location. The seed coat is hard and should be soaked in warm water for 24 hours or gently clip the seed tip to help the seed germinate. Hill planting: Form soil into a 1-ft. diameter mound 3-4' tall. Space mounds 4-6' apart. On each mound plant 1-2 seeds. Row planting: See spacing info in chart. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Hand pollination may be necessary. Train to climb a vertical support for better air circulation, straighter fruit and ease of harvest.
