It has an excellent mustard flavor and tender texture. Also known as Green In the Snow and Suehlihung. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in early/late spring or late summer/early fall in a sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Plant every 2 weeks for continuous harvest. Pepper Seeds - Sweet - Fushimi. Heirloom, Capsicum annuum. AKA ao togarashi, Japanese sweet green pepper, la jiao. 65 days. Non GMO. Warm season annual. Fushimi sweet pepper, Fushimi togarashi, is one of the Kyo-yasai, traditional vegetables,in Kyoto, Japan. This sweet Japanese pepper is thin-walled and glossy bright green. The fruits are slender, tapered and grow to 6 in length. It is very easy to grow, produces good quality and prolific harvests. Start seeds inside 6 weeks before last frost date (or 8 weeks before expected transplanting date). Keep soil warm until emergence.
