21 to 45 days. Asian brassica somewhat like Pak Choi, but with narrower petioles and larger ruffled, light green leaves. Wonderful addition to salads or baby green mixes, or grow on to maturity for stir-fries. Harvest anywhere from microgreen, through baby green, to full maturity. Daikon is a root vegetable reported to have originated in the Mediterranean and brought to China for cultivation around 500 B.C. Roots are large, often 2 to 4 inches in diameter and 6 to 20 inches long. Very easy to grow. The flavor is mild compared to other radishes and looks more like a carrot. Daikon has high water content and is very low in calories. It is rich in vitamin C, potassium and folate and a good source of magnesium. The leaves contain beta-carotene, calcium and iron besides vitamin C.

Extra-early spinach hybrid that suitable for growing under low temperatures, especially during winter in warm areas. Cold tolerance for fall to winter harvest and can tolerate some heat. Pepper Seeds - Hot - Thai - Prik Chi Faa. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Capsicum annuum. AKA chilli api, Dragon Pepper, la chiao, la jiao, lombok kecil, miris, murich, ot, prik chi faa, siling labuyo, togarashi. 75-85 days to maturity. Warm season annual. These Thai chili peppers are considered medium hot. The peppers have smooth glossy green skin that turns red at maturity. They grow about 5 to 7 long and weigh a little less than 1 ounce. Start seeds inside 6 weeks before last frost date (or 8 weeks before expected transplanting date). Keep soil warm until emergence. Seeds will not germinate in cool soil and planting out too early may affect plant vigor. Harden off plants carefully before transplanting. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Chinese Cabbage Seeds - Kogane. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Brassica rapa var pekinensis. 5-7 days microgreens, 70-80 days to maturity. Cool season annual. Kogane means gold in Japanese. When mature, the loose head, fluffy head type, can weigh up to 8 lbs and has a yellow core surrounded by crumpled green outer leaves. It has good flavor and is popular for pickling and cooking. Creates a nice contrast with darker greens for microgreens and baby leaf. Best grown in mild climates. Chinese cabbage prefers cool temperatures for its main growing season. This variety grows well in mild climate areas in full sun. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Exposure to frost or prolonged temperatures below 50?F may result in bolting. Note: Chinese Cabbage requires vernalization. Mustard Seeds - Misome - Hybrid. Non-GMO. Brassica campestris Narinosa group. Alt names: Japan green, komatsuna, tasai, tatsoi. 30 days. Warm season annual. A fairly recent hybrid between Komatsuna and Tatsoi, this versatile, uniform, and hardy green grows upright. The 10 tall plant produces tender, thick, savoyed, deep green leaves that hold well in the field. Heat tolerant and resistant to Downy Mildew and White Rust. Can be grown throughout the year. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in late spring/early summer after last frost and throughout mild temperature summers or late summer to early fall. Red Malabar Spinach Seeds. 70 Days. Open Pollinated, Heirloom, Non-GMO. Basella Rubra. AKA: Red Stem Malabar, Vietnamese Spinach, Red Vine Spinach, Phooi Leaf, Indian Spinach, Alugbati, Ceylon Spinach. This is a vine type spinach with vines that can grow longer than 10 feet. With bright green leaves and stunning red/purple stems this edible is often grown as an ornamental. Not a true spinach, the leaves have a fairly bland flavor. Prefers warm growing conditions.
