Turnip Seeds - Turnbroc Greens. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Brassica rapa. 20-25 days to maturity for baby leaf, 40-50 days to maturity. Cool season annual. Turnbroc is a tender leafy green crossing turnip and broccoli. The leave are hairless, tender with a mild flavor of both broccoli and turnip. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in a sunny location in spring after last frost or in late summer to fall. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Plant every 2 weeks for continuous harvest. Best flavor and texture when harvested up to 2 in diameter. For baby leaf, sow seeds 2-4" wide band. Cut to desired maturity. Delicious in ohitashi, sukiyaki, yosenabe, fresh baby leaf salad, juicing, and cooked anyway. Approximately 9000 seeds per ounce."

The root is semi-globed with deep scarlet red skin with white flesh that is tender and crisp. It has a delicious, sweet flavor when harvested young to full maturity. Turnip tops are green with red veins and stems. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring after danger of all frost and late summer/early fall for winter harvest. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Plant every 2 weeks for continuous harvest. Harvest when about 3 in diameter. Asian turnips are mainly eaten when very young and are delicious raw with a dressing. Microgreens are grown in a raised bed or shallow container with a well-drained soil mixture. They are harvested when the first true leaves just begin to develop and are clipped close to the soil level when about 1 to 2" tall. Delicate microgreens are used as accents on appetizers, sandwiches, salads, main courses, and even desserts. Cabbage Seeds - Pak Choi - Nabi Queen - Dwarf Hybrid. Non-GMO. Annual. Brassica rapa Chinenis group. 40 days. Cool-warm season. This hybrid baby bok choi is often referred to as a nai pe tsai type or dwarf type with thick, white, spoon shaped petioles and wrinkled dark green glossy leaves. This beautiful uniform presentation is matched by its delicious, crisp flavor. It is heat tolerant and has better bolt resistance than many open pollinated varieties. Fischers Ragwort - Gom Chwi. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Ligularia fischeri. 55 days after transplanting. Mild temperature perennial. Gom Chwi is a highly prized seasonal vegetable of Korea. The leaves are green, heart shaped with serrated margins. Leaf size can range from 12-30 and can be harvested at any size. In mild climate Gom Chwi can grow year round with multiple harvestings, up to 8 per year. Its first harvest approximately 55 days after transplant. Late summer vertical spikes of yellow aster-like flowers bloom. Prefers loamy, moist soil, sun and partial shade conditions. Sow seeds in spring. Keep soil moist. Germination at 50?F under shade. In Korean cuisine, gom chwi along with other season vegetable varieties are often used as the main ingredient of herbal side dishes called namul. Tomato Seeds - Suncherry Extra Sweet - Hybrid.Solanum lycopersicum. 65 days (from transplant); Indeterminate. Non GMO. Warm season annual. Suncherry Extra Sweet is a leading variety in Japan. Colorful and sweet, these bite-sized, deep red cherry tomatoes can be harvested over a long growing season with steady fruit set. They resist cracking and are particularly disease resistant to fusarium wilt race 1 and TMV. The fruits are very sweet with a 9-10 brix degree in sugar content. Start seeds inside 6 weeks before last frost date (or 8 weeks before expected transplanting date). Keep soil warm until emergence (75-80?F minimum). Seeds will not germinate in cool soil and planting out too early may affect plant vigor. Harden off plants carefully before transplanting. Prepare fertile, well drained soil. Melon Seeds - Dae Jang Geum - Hybrid.Cucumis melo var. makuwa. NonGMO. Warm season annual. 40-50 days to maturity after fruit set. This is a traditional Korean melon variety that is crisp and remarkably sweet with a 17 brix. The skin is golden yellow with white suture. Shape is oval weighing over 1.5 lbs. Open field with vertical support growing is recommended. Strong resistance to Powdery mildew race 1 and Melon necrotic spot virus. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in late spring/summer after last frost in a warm, sunny location. Or start seeds indoors 2-4 weeks earlier and transplant when weather warms.
