This variety is one of the most popular grown radish varieties for micro to full maturity. As a microgreen, it has green leaves with a red stem. A consistently heavy producer with over 90% of the pods holding two or three seeds. It is a variety that is adaptable to all regions of the US. Great for both commercial use and home gardens. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in late spring after last frost in a warm, sunny location when soil temperature is above 58?F. Keep soil moist. Seeds will rot or fail to germinate if over watered or soaked. Warm day temperatures (75-85?F) and cool night temperatures are important for best results. Chinese Cabbage Seeds - Chun Yeon Gold - Hybrid. Non-GMO. Brassica rapa var pekinensis. 60-70 days. Spring season annual. This spring time Chinese cabbage hybrid has excellent heading ability under various conditions. The barrel head type cabbages are cylindrical shaped with deep green outer leaves and yellow inside leaves. Mid ribs are thin. Head size average 12 tall, 7-8" wide and weigh 2-2.5 lb. The cabbage has low moisture content and excellent flavor which makes this Chinese cabbage a good choice for kimchi pickling. This variety has slow bolting characteristics and disease resistance to Downy Mildew and Soft Rot. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds or transplant seedlings in spring after danger of all frost in a sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Exposing plants to frost or prolonged temperatures below 50?F may result in bolting. Note: Chinese Cabbage requires vernalization. Bitter Gourd Seeds. 80 Days. Momordica charanita. Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated. Annual. AKA: Bitter Melon, Balsam Pear, Foo Gwa. Warty, green, tapered fruits that grow 8 to 10 inches long and about 3 inches in diameter on cucumber-like vines. When fruits are very young they can be used like cucumber, but have mild bitter taste most commonly used as a seasoning. When ripe they turn orange and can split open to reveal bright red seeds. Can be direct sown after the final frost in the spring, with a planting depth of about .75 inch, but are difficult to germinate. Better to pre-soak, and start indoors and transplant. It can be grown as a summer crop in temperate regions. The flavor of the flowers buds/leaves are sour tasting and work well with pickling, curries, or prepared with strong and spicy flavors. A woodland plant, grow in a moist, moderately shaded area (especially during summer) for best results.
