Radish Seeds - Mino Early. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Raphanus sativus. AKA alibanos, cu cai, cu cai trang, daikon, daikon radish, giant white radish, hua piahs, Japanese radish, labanos, lai fu, lao bo, lobak, lobak isi, lobak putih, lo bok, long white radish, lo pak, lu fu, luo bu, moo, mu, muli, oriental radish, phakkaat hua, rabanos, rabu. 40-50 days. Cool season annual. Mino Early is a leading open pollinated radish (daikon) for summer to fall harvest in Japan. It has good heat tolerance and can be grown all year round in tropical areas. The tapered root is long, white, tender and crisp with a mild pungency. Harvest when 14-16 long and weighing 1.75 lbs. Late pithiness. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Spinach Seeds - Lakeside - Hybrid. Non-GMO. Spinacea oleracea. 25-30 days maturity for baby leaf, 40-60 days to full maturity. Cool season annual. Lakeside has uniform thick dark green smooth leaves. It has a round to oval leaf shape with an upright plant habit that makes it easy to harvest. It is a very versatile variety it can be uses for baby leaf, bunch or clip. High resistance to Downy mildew, Peronospora farinosa f.sp. spinaciae 1-9, 11, 15, UA1014 and intermediate resistance 12, 14. Prefers mild and cool temperatures. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring after last frost or late summer/early fall (mulch plants heavily for early spring crop). Keep soil consistently moist. Dry soil, long days and warm temperatures encourage bolting. Cauliflower Seeds - Song TJS-65 - Hybrid. Annual. Brassica oleracea var. botrytis. AKA sweet-stem or loose-curd cauliflower. NonGMO. 55~60 days in spring and 65~70 days in fall to harvest after transplanting. Yellowish head, 4~5 Lbs. Loose florets with light green and long stems. Sweeter and more tender than standard white-stemmed varieties. Crispy and sweet. Good for stir-fry. Good for planting in spring, summer and fall. Seaweed Mustard Seeds - Oka Hijiki. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Salsola komarovi. AKA oka hijiki, seaweed mustard. 30-40 days. Cool season annual. Also known as seaweed on land" or saltwort, this nutritious, grass-like green grows wild in Japan's salt marshes and is also commercially cultivated. Its 12" long, matchstick leaves are excellent sources of vitamin A, calcium and potassium. Tender, young leaves are appreciated for their tart, salty flavor and succulent texture and are mainly eaten fresh or lightly steamed. Also grown as microgreens. Prefers mild and cool temperatures. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring or early fall. Pre-chill seed for 7 days at 41?F for better germination. Germination temperatures from 20-30*C for 14 days. The only special treatment would be to use light during the 8 hour period at the high temperature (30*C). Seed liberally and cover seed lightly with soil. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. For best germination, seed should be stored at 41?F until planted. Blanch tender leaves briefly in salty water, then refresh in an ice bath and add to salads. Or simply steam for a few minutes and serve with mustard or vinegar. Approximately 6000 seeds per ounce."
Eggplant Seeds - Konasu. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Solanum melongena. 60 days. Warm season annual. This tiny, bite-sized, rounded eggplant has shiny dark purple skin that looks almost onyx in color. The calyx is also a purplish-black, and beneath the tender skin is white flesh. Start seeds inside 6 weeks before last frost date (or 8 weeks before expected transplanting date). Keep soil warm until emergence (80-90?F minimum). Seeds will not germinate in cool soil and planting out too early may affect plant vigor. Harden off plants carefully before transplanting. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Transplant in late spring/ summer (soil temperatures at least above 75?F) in a very warm and sunny location. Eggplants are heavy feeders so use a balanced fertilizer. Too much nitrogen will produce lush foliage and few fruit. These appealing little eggplants are perfect for pickling when harvested young. Mature fruit can be cooked as you would other eggplant varieties, and they are especially delicious in stir-fries, tempura or as part of a kabob. Apx. 6313 seeds an ounce.

The India type bitter melon has dark green skin of this hybrid's 6-8 fruits are heavily warted. The spindle-shaped melons taper at both ends, and overall they are narrower than a Chinese bitter melon. Growers prefer this variety for its early maturity and long-lasting, generous yield.
