Radish Seeds - Korean - Alpine Gold - Hybrid. Raphanus sativus. Non GMO. 60 days to maturity. Cool season annual. Developed for spring planting and can be planted in late summer-early fall, this Korean radish has a green shoulder, delicious, firm white flesh, and smooth skin. The radish grows 9-11 long and weighs 3-4 lbs. It has resistance to Fusarium Wilt, root cracking, is slow to bolt, and has late pithiness. This easy-to-grow winter melon lives up to its name -- the plants produce very large fruit that weigh 30 to 35 pounds. The blocky and round shaped gourds are green with a white waxy coating. This giant wax gourd thrives in well-drained soils and hot temperatures, due in part to its extensive root system. Fruit keeps for many months off the vine, making it a staple in colder months. The skin will form a white waxy layer when ripe. Use the white flesh of this giant fruit in a chicken and wax-gourd curry, or get creative and use it as part of the presentation. Hot Radish Seeds - AKA Karaine - Hybrid.Raphanus sativus. 60 days to maturity. Non GMO. Open pollinated. Cool season annual. This unique, prize winning, Japanese hybrid, has bright pink skin and pink flesh with a white core. The roots are cylindrical in shape--about twice as long (6) as they are wide.
