Note that these 5x5 inserts are not meant to be used with the Bootstrap Farmer 1010 trays, as they are slightly too small. Always be sure tray depth is the same when nesting trays. Note: Keep out of direct sunlight when not in use. Store away from prolonged direct sun exposure to decrease risk of degradation.

Radish Seeds - Korean - Bora King - Hybrid.Raphanus sativus. 60 days. Cool season annual. Non GMO. Open pollinated. This beautiful daikon has purple flesh and skin. It matures at 8-10 long, weighs 2-3 lbs, and has late pithiness. The plant is slow to bolt, and the leaves are deeply serrated and delicious. An excellent variety for specialty market growers. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring after last frost or in late summer/early fall in a warm, sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Use in soup, salad, tsukemono (pickled) or fresh. Daikon oroshi (coarsely grated daikon using a Japanese grater) is delicious in sauces used for soba noodles, tempura, and sashimi. Mustard Seeds - Miike Giant. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Brassica juncea var rugosa. Cool season annual. This broad-leafed mustard has large aromatic light green leaves with red veins. The mildly pungent leaves can be used in soup, salad, stir-fry or pickled. Fertilize as needed. Plant every 2 weeks for continuous harvest. The flavor is best when grown briskly so plant in fertile soil and keep well watered. Radish Seeds - Korean - Alpine Gold - Hybrid.Raphanus sativus. Non GMO. 60 days to maturity. Open pollinated. Cool season annual. Developed for spring planting and can be planted in late summer-early fall, this Korean radish has a green shoulder, delicious, firm white flesh, and smooth skin. The radish grows 9-11 long and weighs 3-4 lbs. It has resistance to Fusarium Wilt, root cracking, is slow to bolt, and has late pithiness. Red Uchiki Kuri Japanese Winter Squash Seeds. Cucurbita Maxima. 85 to 95 days to maturity. Annual. Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated. An early, improved selection of Hubbard squash. This Japanese variety has an almost smooth orange-red rind and thick creamy yellow flesh that has a very sweet and nutty flavor. Weighs about 3 lbs when mature. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring/summer after last frost in a warm, sunny location. Hill planting: Form soil into a 1-ft. diameter mound 3-4 tall. Space mounds 5-10' apart. On each mound plant 1-2 seeds. The vine can be trained to climb a vertical support for better air circulation and ease of harvest or left to sprawl on the ground. Broccoli Seeds - Chinese Broccoli - Late Jade - Hybrid. Non-GMO. Brassica oleracea var alboglabra. This variety is a late maturing variety. 60 to 70 days to maturity. Cool season annual. Leaves are big and dark green with thick stems. Slow bolting and tolerant to Downy Mildew. Nice vigorous growing variety and good uniformity. Good for sowing from late spring to fall season (cool areas), can be planted yearly around in sub-tropical area. This variety is good for full size production. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring after last frost to early summer or late summer to early fall. Sow seeds in late spring to fall (cool areas). Can be planted year-round in sub-tropical areas. Keep soil moist. Harvest main stalk when about 8-10 tall and when 2-3 flowers are about to open. After this cut, the plant branches freely for an extended harvest but stems and leaves will be smaller. This spring-type Korean radish can be planted earlier in spring than the Super Luck and Good Luck varieties as it produces good quality roots in cool temperatures and low light conditions. The green shouldered white radishes grow 6-8 long and 2-3" in diameter. Slow to bolt, good heat tolerance and a lack of pithiness makes this a big time winner! Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Hibiscus Seeds - Asian Sour Leaf (Roselle). Heirloom, Non-GMO. Hibiscus sabdariffa. Other names: Florida Cranberry, Indian Sorrel, Jamaican Tea, Maple-Leaf Hibiscus, October Hibiscus, Red Sorrell, Roselle. 70-90 days. Perennial in zones 9-12. Can be grown as an annual. Hibiscus sabdariffa. Edible leaves and flowers. Roselle or Sour Leaf is grown in tropical and subtropical regions. Burmese say chin baung ywat" which is translated into "sour leaf." It can be grown as a summer crop in temperate regions. The flavor of the flowers buds/leaves are sour tasting and work well with pickling, curries, or prepared with strong and spicy flavors. AKA: Florida Cranberry, Indian Sorrel, Jamaican Tea, Maple-Leaf Hibiscus, October Hibiscus, Red Sorrell, Roselle. Roselle is very sensitive to frost. Prepare fertile sandy loam soil. For leaf harvesting, begin 6 weeks after transplanting or when 18" tall, leaving 3-4" of stem. Second cutting and after are done in 4 weeks intervals. Short plants may be thinned out. The fruits are harvested when plants are full grown and can easily snapped off by hand. They are easier to break off in the morning than at the end of the day.
