Chrysanthemum Greens Seeds - Garland Round Leaf. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Glebionis coronaria. The large, medium green oblong leaves are less serrated and have a milder flavor than the serrated-leaf varieties. An easy to grow plant that can also be used for microgreens and baby greens. The closer to flowering, the more pungent the flavor becomes. Prefers mild and cool temperatures. Prepare fertile, well drained soil. Sow seeds in late spring after last frost or late summer/early fall. Will tolerate light shade in summer and will flower in warm temperatures. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. We thresh the grain for our chickens and add the stalks to the compost pile. This is THE crop for bee food. Honeybees just love buckwheat and it makes a highly sought after honey rarely found on the market anymore. You will notice that blossoms are more active in the morning when the plant produces more nectar. Remember never plant buckwheat 'til all danger of frost has passed. Don't worry though you will have blossoms in about six weeks and seeds a few weeks later. We normally plant several crops of buckwheat during the year. If you are trying to raise different varieties NEVER plant them at the same time as they cross very easily. Just raise one variety, harvest and then plant the next. No worries this is a quick crop.

Malabar Spinach Seeds - Green Vines Supreme. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Basella alba. 60 days. Warm season annual/perennial. Malabar spinach thrives in warm weather and is tolerant of heat and humidity. It is a perennial tropical plant.This variety has a green stem and dark green thick fleshy leaves. In cooler areas, it will not overwinter but will produce a good harvest as an annual. It is also called Basella or alugbati in the Philippines. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Avoid clay soils. Sow seeds in late spring/early summer (soil temp at least 60?F) in a warm and sunny location or start seeds inside 6 weeks before last frost date (or 8 weeks before expected transplanting date). Keep soil warm until emergence. Seeds will not germinate in cool soil and planting too early may affect plant vigor. Harden off plants carefully before transplanting. Partial shade may increase leaf size. Keep moist. Consistent moisture helps to keep plant from flowering (flowering may cause bitterness in leaves). Fertilize as needed. Train to a sturdy trellis. Harvest by cutting 6-8 young tips and leaves. New growth can be cut throughout the season. Malabar spinach has a mucilaginous texture and is mostly used to thicken soups/stews. Leisure Cilantro Seeds. Whole Seeds (not split). AKA: Chinese Parsley, coriander or yan sui. Annual. Open pollinated, Heirloom, Non-GMO Seeds. Coriandrum sativum. 35 to 45 days to maturity. Popular as a microgreen. Valued in Asian cuisine for its aromatic zesty flavor produced in every part of the plant, from the leaves to the stems to the seeds. The plants grow up to 2' tall and have medium-green feathery, flat leaves. Small 2 seedlings are ready to harvest after 18 days and can be used in dishes or as a garnish. Extra slow to bolt, this variety is good for mild climates. Cilantro goes to seed quickly in hot weather conditions. Prefers cool temperatures. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil.
