Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in late spring/summer after last frost in a warm, sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Train to climb a vertical support. Harvest when pods are smooth, tender and 16-20" long. Used most notably in the popular Szechwan dish 'Dryfried Beans', these may be used to replace string beans in any dish.
