Turnip Seeds - Turnbroc Greens. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Brassica rapa. 20-25 days to maturity for baby leaf, 40-50 days to maturity. Cool season annual. Turnbroc is a tender leafy green crossing turnip and broccoli. The leave are hairless, tender with a mild flavor of both broccoli and turnip. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in a sunny location in spring after last frost or in late summer to fall. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Plant every 2 weeks for continuous harvest. Best flavor and texture when harvested up to 2 in diameter. For baby leaf, sow seeds 2-4" wide band. Cut to desired maturity. Delicious in ohitashi, sukiyaki, yosenabe, fresh baby leaf salad, juicing, and cooked anyway. Approximately 9000 seeds per ounce."
