These turnips have a perfect globe shape with smooth skin and sweet, mild, crisp flesh. They mature early, are late bolting, and have good flavor. Can be sown from spring to fall. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds from early spring to late summer/early fall in a sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Plant every 2 weeks for continuous harvest. When grown under optimum temperature (68?F) small turnips (1-2") can be harvested in 30 days--large ones (6") in 60 days. Use in soup, salad, pickle or stir-fry. Asian turnips are mainly eaten when very young. They can be eaten raw with a dressing or added to stews and curries. The young green tops are stir-fried or used in soup.
